The Los Angeles native got a big break in 2004, when Underground Resistance's Mad Mike called on Adame to play keyboards in Galaxy 2 Galaxy. This led to what his bio calls an apprenticeship with Mad Mike and membership in Los Hermanos, and a fruitful production career followed suit, with releases for Underground Quality, Motech and Ican Productions, the label he runs with Santiago Salazar. "At one time I had my studio in a room in a warehouse in Downtown LA," Adame says. "It was an hour commute every time. Everyday felt like a grind just to get to the studio, but once I fired up the gear, everything just came together. The warehouse was next to a hardware store where day laborers would gather trying to get construction jobs. I had many conversations with them and broke bread with them several times, their stories were so amazing. I realized that my life was easy compared to theirs, and that I should not complain about my ‘first world’ problems given the struggles they had to overcome." Right now, EPM is saying that Day Labor will be released "in the Spring," but the album's first single, "Home Sick," is due out at the beginning of March. It features a remix from Detroit's MGUN, plus an exclusive cut called "Search For Resolution."
